Professional Racing Driver & Official Nürburgring Race Taxi Driver

My name is Tim, and I'm originally from West Yorkshire, England. I am now based full time at the Nürburgring and drive for Ring Taxi, an official race taxi operator licensed by Nürburgring GmBH. My racing career began on my 8th birthday, the moment I was old enough to take to the track in a kart. Up until that point I'd been an avid fan of all things motorsport, so once I got the opportunity to drive myself there was no going back! I raced professionally in karts in the UK and throughout Europe up until the age of 18. 

 

After that my racing career took an unconventional turn, with a momentary pause in racing activities due to financial reasons. So all efforts turned to raising the capital to be back behind the wheel as quickly as possible! 

 

In 2017 I made the decision to relocate to the Nürburgring.

 

I'm also actively racing at the Nürburgring in the RCN & VLN race series. My other racing commitments extend back to the UK as I race in the British GT Cup in the Lamborghini GT3 Super Trofeo prepared by Stanbridge Motorsport. You can find me on track every day in either a BMW M5 Competition with 3 passengers on board, or in the Porsche 991 GT3RS. Off the track I run my race simulator business, founded in 2020 EFFECT SIMULATIONS leads the premium sim racing market in product aesthetics, geometric authenticity & lap time performance.
